If you live in the Manchester or Stockport area, I can offer a personal chef service, for a pop-up style dinner party in your own home. All of the food fits within the ethos of my food and cooking, with plenty of unusual dishes as well as the more familiar, and I’ll be there to provide you with the history behind each dish.
I offer a historical five or seven-course menu from £35 per head, or a seven-course ‘Pud Club’ feast from £25 per head. I also offer a five-course ‘Odd Bits’ menu, which champions the underused cuts of meat and fish.
I also cook bespoke meals, so if you have a specific brief, please contact me (details below). For example, I was recently asked to cook a whole hog, mediaeval-style in the middle of a Cheshire forest. How could I say no to that!
I also make and supply traditional bakery good to delis, shops, cafés and restaurants in the Manchester and Stockport area. I make treats such as custard tarts, sticky toffee puddings and sausage rolls, all made from scratch and by hand.
Please contact me by one of the methods below, if you would like a list of products and prices.
If you are holding a small party or wedding, I can cater for it. I have lots of choices in my arsenal of traditional and modern British dishes, including hot pies and suet puddings. If you would like a cold buffet, I can cook up poached salmon, Tudor lamb Eccles cakes or a baked blue cheesecake, or even a three-tier raised pie wedding ‘cake’, amongst many others.
