To Make Digestive Biscuits

Just like the workers of the 19th century, my work days are punctuated by tea & biscuits

This blog post complements the podcast episode ‘A Dark History of Sugar Part 2’ on the British Food History Podcast.

  1. A great recipe! I had to grind up steel cut oats as oatmeal isn’t readily available here, but they worked well with the end result just like the real thing, and passed the tea dunking test with flying colours 🙂
